On paper, I don't come from a traditional design background, and in fact, it's the complete opposite of that. I have a long work history of sales, marketing, and manual labor, which you can say there is a form of creative thinking in anything as long as you apply it.
My design experience and education come from my passion for art, music, fashion, and skateboarding. I've helped several small businesses (including my own) with the need to design better experiences for their users, whether creating an app for people to take care of small tasks around the house or working with an advertising agency to provide creative input on commercial ads.
Now that I am in UX, I'm focusing on making platforms, products, and events we experience better for all users. I want to emphasize pushing good designs into people's lives, whether its an app they use every day or a concert at an arena.
